Your role and responsibilities

Ready to help shape the future of electrification in Switzerland? As a Service Project Manager at ABB, you will be responsible for service projects and maintenance contracts in the field of medium and low voltage switchgear. You will work directly with our local customers, driving performance beyond expectations and helping us implement smart, safe and sustainable energy solutions.

Your main tasks:

• Management of service projects in the field of medium- and low-voltage switchgear as well as electrical distribution systems – with responsibility for engineering, scheduling and commercial results

• Support of maintenance contracts including complete coordination of customer assignments

• Management of service projects in the field of medium- and low-voltage switchgear as well as electrical distribution systems – with responsibility for engineering, scheduling and commercial results

• Coordinate operational activities and proactively communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams

• Monitoring of your projects in terms of cost control, resource efficiency and compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards

Your Profile

• Completed technical training (e.g. electrician, electrical engineer, automation engineer) with further training at HF or FH level (or equivalent)

• Completed Project Manager Certification Level IPMA Level C (or equivalent)

• Experience as a project manager or project engineer in the field of electrical installations or switchgear construction

• Technical know-how in medium and low voltage switchgear

• Confident handling of SAP or similar ERP systems

• Strong customer focus and ability to set priorities effectively

• Fluent in German, good knowledge of English; other languages are a plus
