About the role

As a Senior Field Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers’ satisfaction and success. Your daily work will be divided between tasks at our headquarters in Munich, our production facility in Kaufbeuren, and, above all, on-site at customer locations. Your work will focus specifically on products in the mobile robotics sector and will include commissioning, troubleshooting, and conducting workshops at the customer’s site.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide direct technical support to our global customers regarding the product portfolio of Franka Robotics GmbH
  • Analyze and troubleshoot issues via the ticket system, remote support, or directly on-site at the customer’s location
  • Conduct commissioning, repair visits, and customer workshops both on-site and in-house
  • Interface between Customer Support, Development, Sales, and Product Management
  • Knowledge transfer and stakeholder to our international partners and subsidiaries regarding the aforementioned product portfolio
  • Escalation management

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree or state-certified technician in electrical engineering, mechatronics, automation technology, or comparable qualifications.
  • At least 3–5 years of professional experience in customer support and field service
  • Extensive experience in robotics and automation technology
  • Knowledge of high-level programming languages (e.g., ROS), experience with SAP, and Linux operating systems is desirable
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 60% of the time, primarily within Europe and North America
  • Class B driver’s license / internationally valid driver’s license
  • Fluency in spoken and written German and English
  • Strong communication and assertiveness skills, as well as intercultural competence
