The University of Alabama Capstone College of Nursing is dedicated to enhancing the health and wellbeing of our citizens by advancing the profession of nursing through education, scholarship and service. The College excels in providing an invigorating curriculum that prepares nursing students at the baccalaureate, masters and doctoral levels. CCN offers two tracks to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing: an on-campus program for traditional undergraduate students and an online RN to BSN (or MSN) program for practicing nurses. Additionally, the College offers a Master's Entry into the Nursing Profession degree which prepares students with a bachelor’s degree in any area outside of nursing to become entry-level professional nurses. Our online and blended graduate degree programs offer practicing nurses the opportunity to advance their education. We offer a Master of Science in Nursing, a Doctor of Nursing Practice, a Joint Nursing Science Ph.D., and post-graduate certification programs. Capstone College of Nursing graduates enter the workforce confident that they possess the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to lead in today’s health care environment.
