Genesis

Genesis is the luxury automotive brand of Hyundai Motor Group, established as an independent entity on November 4, 2015. It represents Korea's first luxury division and has quickly positioned itself as a competitor to established brands like BMW and Mercedes-Benz. The brand evolved from the Hyundai Genesis sedan, which debuted in 2008, and focuses exclusively on the high-end automotive market. Genesis offers a diverse lineup of luxury vehicles, including the G90 flagship sedan, G80 and G70 sedans, and the GV80, GV70, and GV60 SUVs, with the latter being an electric model. In December 2024, Genesis introduced its first hypercar, the GMR-001, and established the Genesis Magma Racing Team, marking its entry into high-performance vehicles.
