Responsibilities & Skills
Lattice is seeking candidates for the position of Technical Writing Intern.This is an internship position located in Penang, Malaysia.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in FPGA development while creating and maintaining technical documentation for our products and services. You will work closely with our experienced technical writers and engineers to produce clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation.

Accountabilities:
- Learn Lattice writing tools and contribute to improving documentation processes and standards to enhance the overall quality and usability of our documentation.
- Assist in managing documentation repositories and version control systems.
- Explore and apply AI-assisted, scripting, or automation tools to support documentation tasks (such as editing, content cleanup, conversion assistance, or workflow efficiency), under guidance from the team.
- Assist in the creation and editing of technical documentation, including user guides, product data sheets, and application notes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and other writers, to gather information and ensure accuracy of content.
- Participate in reviewing and updating existing documentation to align with product changes and updates.
- Provide support for other related tasks and projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Technical Communication, Computer Science, or related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Interest in AI, automation, or scripting to improve productivity and workflows.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Visio, and document formatting tools.
- Familiarity with technical writing principles and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Exposure to programming or scripting (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or similar) is a plus.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), content management system, and documentation tools (e.g., Adobe Acrobat, FrameMaker, Oxygen) is a plus.
