The Amazon Robotics Pick Automation is responsible for all systems, and metrics to enhance services required for supporting Amazon Robotics (AR) work scheduling in Pick space. It provides a framework to manage, sustain and execute the work units for individual stations in AR and pickers in Non-AR FCs.

We are looking for Software Development Engineers who will be responsible for Design, development, delivery and support of large-scale, multi-tiered, Software applications and tools.
Key job responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and delivering software and automated solutions to enable products that are used in Amazon fulfillment and distribution centres. The system that you build will have a direct impact on the Top Line performance of the company to the tune of hundreds of millions (USD). In this role, you will have an opportunity to own, design, and develop large-scale software services and data management systems. You will have influence on subsystem design and help build a team culture around practices that are critical to a quality product.

Pick Scheduling AFT’s Pick Scheduling team(s) pairs data science with innovative technologies to optimize scheduling of picks within every Amazon fulfillment center. We deliver smiles for Amazon customers with safe, sustainable, cost-effective, on-time package deliveries. Basic Qualifications: - 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience - 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl experience - 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience - Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field - Experience programming with at least one software programming language Preferred Qualifications: - 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
