Position Overview:

ANSER is seeking a Senior Program Analyst – Trusted AI & Autonomy (TAA) to support the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Critical Technologies (OASD(CT)), including Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (DASD) offices and Critical Technology Area (CTA) program management offices.

In this role, you will provide technical and program management support, lead development of technology roadmaps, and support executive-level project operations and stakeholder coordination across the Department of Defense, Joint Staff, FFRDCs/UARCs, industry, Combatant Commands (CCMDs), and other federal agencies.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Provide subject matter expertise in Trusted AI & Autonomy to support the Principal Director (PD) or Government Lead in strategic planning and roadmap development
  • Develop technology roadmaps, identify near-term capability opportunities, and support strategy documents and implementation plans
  • Conduct technical assessments; review white papers; respond to DoD and interagency inquiries; and prepare briefings and reports for leadership, Congress, industry, and academia
  • Develop technical materials, including guidance, architecture, policy inputs, training support, and engineering recommendations to enable technology transition
  • Collect and analyze data related to defense investments, workforce, infrastructure, and industry capabilities
  • Support CTA funding and industry capability assessments, including quarterly surveys and reporting to OASD(CT) leadership and program managers
  • Coordinate with OUSD(R&E), the Intelligence Community, and other agencies to assess international partnerships, emerging research, and adversary activities
  • Maintain and enhance centralized data repositories for DoD RDT&E investments to improve visibility and analytics
  • Apply data modeling, integration, and analytics techniques, including AI and natural language processing, to support decision-making
  • Gather stakeholder requirements and develop dashboards and real-time decision-support tools for DoD leadership
  • Identify and support technology transition opportunities to military services and commercial sectors; advise on transition mechanisms across the Department of Defense
  • Provide mission support through data architecture, analytics, and knowledge management, including monthly reporting on data model and dashboard development

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility/adjudication
  • Master’s degree in a relevant hard science or engineering field (e.g., Physics, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science)
  • Demonstrated knowledge and familiarity with Trusted AI & Autonomy systems, including design, development, and implementation within the defense ecosystem
  • Minimum of 10 years of technical program/project management experience, or related experience in acquisition, procurement, finance, or business operations supporting Government programs
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, including experience preparing executive-level briefings and reports for senior DoD and U.S. Government leaders
  • Experience supporting executive-level project operations and stakeholder coordination
  • Familiarity with Advana and data tools/platforms (e.g., Qlik, Databricks), including data architecture, automation, and model development

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience within OASD(CT), DASD offices, CTA program offices, or similar strategic-level environments
  • Experience supporting complex analytics efforts involving multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Advanced experience in the design, development, or implementation of AI and autonomy systems within the defense ecosystem
