Job Title: Senior Automation Project Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of automation projects from PO through deployment and in some cases, post implementation support.
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements
- Manage multiple, concurrent automation initiatives with varying complexity levels
- Identify risks, dependencies, and constraints; develop mitigation plans
- Participate in the quote, plan, and Project Manage FEED engagements
- Hold yourself and project team accountable for overall project financial profitability (GP), scope, schedule, and quality
- Maintain full customer engagement throughout the project lifecycle to encourage repeat business
- Achieve key stakeholder objectives while meeting customer demands
- Follow the approved project management processes to ensure project success
- Assist leadership with establishing project governance, standards, and best practices
- Present project updates, risks, and performance metrics to senior leadership as required
- Performs other duties assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
Education/Knowledge:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical or Computer) or Business degree with equivalent years of experience in technical field(s)
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile, or SCRUM certification preferred
- Working knowledge of the National Electric Code a plus
Experience/Skills:
- 8+ years of Project Management experience, including proficiency in project execution standards and strategies
- 5+ years in DCS, PLC, or SCADA automation
- Proven track record with customers in managing projects
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, timelines, and cross-functional teams
- Proficient in use of common computer software programs: Microsoft Office, Visio and Project primarily
- Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams and P&IDs
