Job Description:

As a member of the Engineering Technical Team, this position is responsible for the development, design, execution, test for Systems Engineering focusing on Global Positioning System (GPS) Signal Processing and Anti-Jam (AJ) including FPGA development for DoW programs.  A candidate will have knowledge and practical experience in Hardware/Software design and implementation, System Architecture, and Verification/Validation on FPGA for real-time HW/SW applications in DoW programs.  Must be able to work closely with customers, agencies, and across engineering disciplines. The position also offers great opportunities to advance state-of-the-art technology and create new products.

Essential Functions:

  • Execute design, build, integration and test activities, problem resolution and verify that the deliverable products meet all program and customer requirements.
  • Provide innovative Systems Engineering solutions consistent with business development plans.
  • Provide project management reports as required, support senior level reviews as necessary.
  • Provide inputs and reviews of the engineering technical baseline as part of proposal efforts.
  • Interface with the program’s leadership and other teams (SW and HW) on a frequent basis, conduct or participate in customer and/or program technical review presentations, and provide progress status updates on work products.
  • Participate in the product development process including design reviews.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a US Secret security clearance

Qualifications:

  • Position requires a bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or related discipline with 12 years of prior relevant experience or
  • Graduate Degree in STEM and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience
  • Experience in GPS systems development (5 year minimum)
  • Work effectively in both independent and team environments.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Broad and practical experience in GPS systems and GPS receivers, M-code, Anti-Jam (AJ)/Anti-Spoof (AS) and Tracking design a plus.
  • Experience in Communications and Signal Processing desired (5 years+).
  • Experience in Digital Receiver design, particularly spread spectrum signals desired (5 years +).
  • Flexible work schedule but 4/10 is preferred

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is Min $153,000.00 - $284,000.00 Max. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, and Vermont is $133,000.00 Min - $247,000.00 Max. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
