We are seeking a skilled Robotics Engineer to design, implement, and optimize automated systems, including ARVs, robotics, and overhead transport, in a microelectronics manufacturing environment. The role ensures compliance with SEMI standards and involves collaboration with production, logistics, and maintenance teams to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.

Duties & Responsibilities The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Support AMHS operations including maintenance of automation equipment.
  • Develop and implement automated systems (ARVs, robotics, overhead transport). Path routing, material handling, optimization, etc.
  • Oversee installation, integration, testing, and validation of automation equipment.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to reduce downtime, minimize waste, and lower operational costs.
  • Understand and observe the safety requirements related to Collaborative Robot specifications.
  • Liaise with equipment suppliers and manage vendor relationships.
  • Perform SECS/GEM Characterizations for equipment.
  • Draft and interpret mechanical/electrical designs.
  • Manage and leading a team.
  • Ensure compliance with SEMI standards and implement safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing technical support and training as needed.

Skills & Qualifications The ideal candidate shall:

  • Hold a master’s degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Electronics or related to Robotization and Automation.
  • Experience in automation engineering, preferably in microelectronics manufacturing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Proficiency in programming languages (Python, C++, Java) and experience with PLCs, SCADA, and HMI systems.
  • Be able to understand electronic circuit schematics.
