greenteg AG offers high-tech thermal sensing solutions for an international customer base. Besides marketing industrial sensors for laser power metering and for assessing insulation properties of buildings, we also offer a unique core body temperature measurement solution (CALERA®) for wearable devices. The technology empowers customers with a wide range of innovative applications such as improving sports performance, continuous and non-invasive patient monitoring, ovulation tracking, sleep analysis or early detection of diseases.

The company develops, manufactures, and markets all solutions at our headquarters in Rümlang, ZH.

To get additional support for our RD team, we are looking for an intern with background in embedded systems to support development of the firmware of our wearable devices.

Start Date: February 2026 (or upon agreement)

Tasks

As part of our wearable product development team you will:

  • Support with the firmware development of our wearable devices, with focus on middleware, drivers and overall power optimization;
  • Support with the deployment of firmware releases;
  • Help ensure a smooth transfer to production and a successful pre-production run;
  • Perform code-level tests and device-level functional validations.

Requirements

You are looking for an internship in an entrepreneurial atmosphere for the duration of 6 months. You are motivated to work for a Swiss scaleup, able to learn fast and independently.

Your CV shows a proven track record of:

  • Current student or recent graduate in bachelor's or master's studies in embedded systems engineering, software engineering or related field
  • Knowledge of Embedded C
  • Experience with Nordic Semiconductor MCU and RTOS (Zephyr is a plus)
  • Experience with Git version control
  • Experience with typical low-level communication protocols (UART, SPI and I2C)
  • Know-how on BLE and LTE/GNSS modules is a plus
  • Basic electronics knowledge is a plus (reading schematics and instrumentation)
  • Proficiency in English (C1, written and spoken)
  • A valid Swiss working permit is a must.
