Could you be the full-time SCC PrEM in Cairo we’re looking for?

  • Your future role

    Take on a new challenge and apply your system engineering and integration expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.

    You'll play a key role in ensuring the successful configuration, integration, and delivery of advanced Automatic Train Supervision (ATS), SCADA, and Cybersecurity systems. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Test & Commissioning, Project Management, and Software Development), oversee system documentation, and ensure the alignment of design with functional requirements, and much more.

    You’ll specifically take care of the integration of software deliveries across Alstom sites, but also support on-site testing and commissioning activities.

    We’ll look to you for:

    • Managing and planning the configuration of ATS, SCADA, and Cybersecurity systems

    • Overseeing the integration of software deliveries developed across multiple Alstom sites

    • Providing support for on-site Test & Commissioning activities

    • Developing and maintaining system documents, specifications, and other technical documentation

    • Applying system engineering processes to ensure technical compliance with defined needs and enhancements

    • Collaborating with other engineers to ensure design alignment with intended functions and architecture

    • Engaging with project management teams to ensure successful project execution

    All about you

    • Engineering University Degree in Computer Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electronic Engineering

    • 7-12 years of experience in engineering or engineering management (preferred)

    • Knowledge of railway systems (preferred)

    • Experience with automation systems, particularly SCADA products

    • Understanding of standard and industrial protocols (e.g., OPC-UA, OPC-DA, MODBUS, SNMP, etc.)

    • Good knowledge of PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and French

    • Ability to work transversally with engineering teams

    • Proactive mindset and flexibility to adapt to diverse knowledge areas

    • A willingness to learn and grow
