About this Job
Your mission & challenges
As an experienced and software-oriented Production Team Lead, you will play a key role in building and leading our team while further developing production processes related to the commissioning of humanoid robotic systems.
Your Goal: To reliably commission humanoid robots in production as software-based mechatronic systems in close collaboration with software, electronics, and hardware development — ensuring stable, safe, and fully functional robot performance for our customers.
Your main tasks include:
You will further build and professionally lead your team while continuously developing its capabilities.
You will optimize workflows and working methods within your area of responsibility to ensure smooth commissioning processes and sustainably increase quality, safety, efficiency, and productivity.
You will be responsible for capacity and resource planning as well as the qualification and further development of employees.
You will collect, analyze, and evaluate relevant KPIs, derive improvement measures, and drive their implementation together with the involved departments.
You will further develop functional testing and diagnostic concepts for humanoid robotic systems in collaboration with specialist departments to ensure release processes and traceability of hardware and software configurations during commissioning.
You will take ownership of technical escalation management whenever functionality, safety, or configuration issues arise.
What we can look forward to
A completed Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Software Engineering.
Professional and leadership experience in the production of software-based mechatronic systems — ideally in a near–high-volume production environment.
Strong understanding of manufacturing and testing processes (ERP, LEAN, continuous improvement) as well as the interaction between hardware and software configurations.
Experience in functional safety, testing procedures, and systematic diagnostic processes.
A structured, quality-focused, and solution-oriented way of working — including close collaboration with software and electronics development — as well as high tolerance for ambiguity in complex project environments.
Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary project teams.
Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
