Job Description

Within the Robotics Division, you will join the Product Management team. Your role is cross-functional and acts as a link between customer needs, our production unit and our product portfolio. As part of the development of the new generation of robots, your responsibilities will focus on the following areas:

Strategic marketing:

  • Analysing the competitive environment to define product positioning and the value proposition
  • Identify and define product differentiators to meet customers’ explicit and implicit needs
  • Define a value-based pricing strategy by mapping added value, market research, market trends and projected production costs
  • Monitor customer satisfaction levels

Research and Development Roadmap (R&D roadmap):

  • Analyse market data and technological trends to identify new ideas and concepts for new product development
  • Organise innovation workshops with customers
  • Define the business plan for new products

Operational marketing:

  • Oversee the launch of new products by creating content for training, marketing and product communication
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators; analyse product profit and loss
  • Provide short- and long-term forecasts

Mobility: occasional international travel (20-30% of the role)

Qualifications

Education: Master’s degree with a technical focus, typically from an engineering school. A qualification at a different level, supplemented by significant experience in a similar role, is acceptable.

Experience: Minimum 5 years in a similar role

Specific skills:

  • Customer focus: understanding of market needs and trends
  • Results-oriented: turnover / margin / investments
  • Technical proficiency in the fields of mechanics and electronics
  • Cross-functional management
  • Marketing knowledge: 5Cs, STP, 4Ps
  • Data analysis, BI (business intelligence), Microsoft Office

Foreign language: fluency in English essential

Qualities: rigour, leadership, solution-oriented and customer-focused
