IT Analyst R&D (m/f/d)

As an IT Analyst – R&D, you will play a key role in shaping and supporting the R&D IT landscape. You will ensure efficient processes, tools, and systems for simulation and engineering environments while aligning with international standards such as ASPICE, Functional Safety, and Cybersecurity. Acting as a bridge between IT and R&D, you will contribute to a harmonized, future-proof system architecture across all locations.
Your responsibilities
Implement and support R&D processes, methods, and tools in line with ASPICE, Functional Safety, and Cybersecurity standards.
Provide first-level support for simulation software and R&D-specific IT solutions (e.g. Linux, NAS).
Support and configure engineering software tools for end users.
Drive the standardization of engineering software across all Rotax locations.
Develop and maintain a global R&D software and system strategy, including Windchill and Codebeamer integration.
Define structured data storage and documentation concepts within the Windchill environment.
Maintain the software and license landscape and support budget planning activities.
Document systems and processes and proactively collaborate with internal stakeholders.
Your profile & personal strengths
University degree (Bachelor or Master) in IT, Engineering, or a comparable field.
3–5 years of professional experience in an IT or R&D-related environment.
Experience in Linux system administration.
User-level experience with ALM systems in an automotive or aerospace environment.
Solid understanding of engineering or simulation toolchains.
Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented working style.
Strong communication skills in English (German is a plus).

The minimum salary for this position is EUR 60.962,3 gross/year in accordance with the collective agreement for the metal industry. Depending on your qualifications and professional experience, we offer an attractive and performance-related salary with corresponding overpayment.
