Position Overview-Tasks & Responsibilities:
As an interninthe RoboticsR&D,you will be a part of our team and support our engineers in developing the next generation oforthopedic/surgicalrobotics and navigation systems.Tasks include but are not limited to:
Supportnumerouswork activities as part of the development process of new medical devices.
Build concepts for medical devices and test setups.
Design prototypes and coordinate manufacturing in the prototype shop.
Coordinate and support mechanical tests
Develop layouts and tolerance studies,participatein performing design evaluations (such as FEA, simulated use testing, drylabsand wet tissuelabsetc.)
Writetechnical&scientificreports
Present your results to your colleagues.
Qualifications -Educationand Experience:
- On-going university degree withMechanical, Electrical or Biomedical Engineeringbackground
Qualifications -Skills:
Interest in the areas of product development and medical devices
Fluent in EnglishandGerman
Strong communication, organizational andinterpersonal skills
Ability to work in a matrix organization andparticipateeffectively both independently and as part of multiple teams
Capacity to work under strict timelines
Skills design, mechanical testing and validation
Basic CAD skills (preferablyNX orSolidworks)
Basic anatomical & biomechanical understanding
Basic statistical knowledge
Basic programming experience in MATLAB, C++and/or Pythonisbeneficial
Comfortable with reading and reviewing technical documents and drawings
