Field Service Engineer II

In this role you are expected to lead Service Contracts and ensure smooth operation of Maintenance contracts, connected services and service projects. You must demonstrate a drive to meets contractual requirements and exceeds customer expectations in terms of performance and behaviors. Self-starter and individual with are key to fit in this role.

Role & Responsibilities:

Behaviors

  • Demonstrates Leadership & business acumen and capabilities to Lead Teams
  • Leads the Team of FSPs/Contractors OR works solo to reach objectives in terms of contract performance, productivity, and process compliance
  • Maintains customer’s satisfaction at high levels, and resolves customer satisfaction issues
  • Provide technical training, coaching, and work direction to other FSPs
  • Generates Leads from contracted sites, support in estimate, supply quotes to customers on adds and extras identified or as requested.
  • Capable to foresee/forecast risk related to costs, schedules, customer satisfaction and ensures contract/projects are resourced properly
  • Ensure delivery of value, services on time, within scope, and within budget to Honeywell clients and customers.
  • Self-Drive to continuous improvement of operations, service delivery and self & team expertise/capabilities

Performance

  • Perform and provide expert counsel on emergency, maintenance, testing, engineering, programming, designing, commissioning,documentation, installation supervision, management of sub-contractors, start-up, testing and start-up technical support,service and maintenance onHoneywell and third-party systems (including software where applicable) from simple to complex task in nature
  • Perform or provide advice on diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems (both hardware and software)in a time effective manner
  • Achieve, measure and report performance indicators & site service objectives
  • Take Ownership of Project/Contract delivery, cost and revenue cycles and maintain the deliverables in check
  • Own SMS, MBR and Service Delivery Matrix and work with team to improve
  • Verify system functional performance to ensure proper operations according to contract requirements and shop drawings/sequence of operations, etc.
  • Ensure all assigned reactive, corrective, preventive maintenance tasks are completed in the time allotted and as per schedule.

Compliance

  • Follow & own the Honeywell SOPs, HSE & quality systems
  • Carry out hazard and risk assessments for all tasks according to Honeywell policy, regulatory, and safety requirements.
  • Report near misses, incidents, and other opportunities for improvement.
  • Meet contractual requirements and exceeds customer expectations, while also being an team & individual contributor
  • Report possible future failures, disturbances, and other opportunities for improvement.
  • Complete documentation of all work done, including all reports, etc.
  • Development and maintenance of site-specific documentation and quality assurance information as per team leader or contract requirement
  • Test, calibrate and verify system and peripheral devices (testing to be performed according to all applicable standards and codes.

What You Must Have:

  • Bachelors Degree in Electronics or Electrical or Equivalent from an approved institution or reputable university
  • PMP/ CEM Certification is preferred
  • 8+ Years’ experience in Low Current Systems in Lead or Project Manager role
  • Honeywell Product knowledge and experience and must be conversant with leading industry vendors such as Honeywell, Simplex, Siemens, Centraline, Alerton, Johnson Control, Sauter etc.
  • Working knowledge and/or certifications of NFPA, ASHRE, Saudi Aramco Standards/GIs, Global and Saudi Building Codes
  • Understanding databases, ICT & Networks, Servers, RAID’s and PC’s
  • Expert well skills on with multi line Honeywell Products (Niagara, EBI, DVM, CPO, XL series controllers, XLS, Temaline
  • Demonstrated experience in Security Systems and Audio Visuals.
  • Good communication both written and verbal
  • Strong fault-finding skills and industry based basic programming skills
  • High standard of work and good documentation and record keeping skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, interact and build relationships with customers
  • Ability to acquire and demonstrate trade skills and/or product knowledge to meet the requirements of the role.
  • Must be able to work with limited supervision and direct contractors or FSP
  • Valid driver’s License
  • Ability to travel
