The Skylark product line is focused on the rapid design, build, and test ofcutting-edgeactive phased array antennas (AESA) for terrestrial and airborne applications. Current programs span high-power, large-scale ground terminals for missile defense to commercial airline and helicopter connectivity solutions.

We are looking to add anElectrical Engineer II to our team. In this role, you will contribute to the full lifecycle design and implementation of board-level and system-level electronics hardware for advanced RF communication systems. We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer II who is self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn. You will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and validating a wide range of electronic systems in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university. 
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in electronics hardware development.
  • Experience with PCB layout and the core principles of board design.
  • Knowledge of lab instruments, such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and power supplies. 
  • Involvement in technical trade studies on issues such as IC/component selection and circuit implementation.
  • Ability to convey complex electrical systems through variety of documentation, including block diagrams.
  • Experience with microcontrollers and/or FPGA based systems.
  • Experience using LTSpice for circuit and/or system level simulations.
  • Write and execute test procedures for design verification and acceptance.
  • Willingness to take on variety of difficult technical problems and implement complete solution.
  • Perform detailed and complete schematic design for complex boards, ranging from key components to supporting passives.
  • Proficiency with electronics design (EDA) tools such as Altium, Kicad, Xpedition.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Simulation and analysis experience such as power integrity, signal integrity, or worst-case circuit analysis.
  • Familiar with derating standards and guidelines.
  • Programming fundamentals (C/C++, Python, etc.).

$113,000 - $136,000 a year
