Responsibilities: Responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving electronic and automated systems within the organization. This role ensures equipment reliability, supports production efficiency, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives through automation technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, test, and maintain electronic equipment and automated systems, including PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and control panels
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and automation systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, and automation-related issues in a timely manner
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
  • Program, modify, and debug PLCs and other automation controls
  • Support equipment upgrades, modifications, and new system installations
  • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, procedures, and regulations
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and maintenance teams on projects and problem-solving

Qualifications Requirements/Knowledge/Education/Skills:

  • Associate degree or technical certification in Electronics, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in industrial electronics or automation
  • Knowledge of PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, control systems, and industrial automation
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with diagnostic tools and software Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with robotic systems and industrial automation technologies
  • Knowledge of SCADA systems and HMI configuration
  • Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulics systems
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment

Physical Requirements and Working Environment: 

  • Work in industrial or manufacturing environments
  • May require standing, lifting, and working with machinery
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Manual dexterity and ability to work with tools and small components
