Product Manager Switchboard Configuration Platform for Licensed Partners

Strategic Relevance

• Drive Schneider Electric's Switchboard Configurator Program, building the next generation digital platform for licensed partners to design, configure, quote, engineer, and prepare Schneider Electric switchboard solutions.
• Accelerate digital transformation and business growth across Schneider Electric's international partner ecosystem, including panel builders, Electrical contractors, switchboard manufacturers, assemblers, and licensed partners.
• Enable greater adoption of Schneider Electric offers through digital engineering experiences that simplify complexity and improve productivity.

Building the Future

• Lead product strategy for a critical element of Schneider Electric's switchboard digital ecosystem.
• Shape how partners interact with Schneider Electric offers across the complete project lifecycle, from project creation through engineering deliverables.
• Drive innovation by leveraging AI, digital engineering, analytics, and connected partner experiences.

Global Exposure

• Collaborate with stakeholders across Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, India, South America, and other international markets.
• Work with global business leaders, offer management teams, engineering organizations, digital teams, and channel leadership.

Role Summary

As Product Manager for the Himalaya Program, you will own a strategic product domain within Schneider Electric's switchboard configuration platform serving licensed partners worldwide.

You will be responsible for defining the product vision, roadmap, backlog priorities, and business outcomes while ensuring successful delivery and adoption of the platform. You will work closely with partners, offer teams, user experience specialists, architects, and agile development teams to deliver market-leading switchboard design, configuration, and engineering capabilities.

You will operate at the intersection of electrical distribution, software product management, partner enablement, and emerging technologies, driving solutions that create measurable value for both partners and Schneider Electric.

Key Responsibilities

Product Vision & Strategy

• Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with the Himalaya Program objectives.
• Translate business goals, market opportunities, and customer insights into product priorities.
• Drive long-term evolution of the platform to support multiple switchboard offers, partner personas, and regional market requirements.
• Ensure alignment with Schneider Electric's digital and channel growth strategy.

Voice of Customer & Partner Engagement

• Engage directly with licensed partners, panel builders, assemblers, country organizations, and channel leadership teams.
• Understand partner workflows, challenges, and business objectives.
• Lead customer discovery activities including interviews, workshops, prototype evaluations, and field feedback sessions.
• Build deep understanding of switchboard engineering, quotation, and project execution processes.

Product Delivery & Execution

• Own and prioritize the product backlog.
• Define epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with UX, engineering, architecture, quality, and data teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Drive release planning, feature validation, user acceptance, and go-to-market readiness.
• Ensure solutions meet customer expectations, quality standards, and business objectives.

Adoption & Business Impact

• Define product success metrics and adoption targets.
• Support partner onboarding, enablement, training, and change management activities.
• Work with customer success, offer management, and country organizations to accelerate adoption.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and identify opportunities to improve partner productivity and business value.

Analytics & Performance Management

• Define and monitor KPIs such as:

• Active partner usage

• User engagement

• Feature adoption

• Customer satisfaction

• Quote generation efficiency

• Business impact and growth contribution

• Use data and analytics to drive prioritization and product decisions.

General Responsibilities

• • Regularly align with Program leadership, business sponsors, and portfolio stakeholders.
  • Manage roadmap dependencies, risks, priorities, and delivery milestones.
  • Support portfolio planning, business reviews, and investment discussions.
  • Act as the voice of the customer and the product champion across the organization.

14 years of total experience and 5+ years of product management experience with ownership of complex software or digital products.

• Proven experience defining product roadmaps, managing backlogs, and delivering products in Agile environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to translate customer and business needs into clear product requirements.
• Data-driven decision-making and experience using product analytics.
• Experience working with external customers, partners, or B2B software ecosystems.

Preferred

• Experience in switchboards, power distribution, electrical engineering, industrial software, or engineering design applications.
• Understanding of licensed partner, panel builder, or assembler business models.
• Knowledge of quotation, configuration, engineering, manufacturing preparation, or project workflows.
• Experience with AI-enabled digital products and cloud platforms.
• Experience working in global and multicultural environments.

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business, Product Management, or a related discipline.
• MBA or equivalent business qualification is an advantage.
