Controls Engineer Intern
Qualifications and Education Requirements
An engineering student working toward a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology and/or experience in a military or industrial control engineering environment. Tends to work well in a team environment or independently with little supervision.
Interest and exposure to:
- HMI design
- PLC logic/troubleshooting
- Rockwell (Allen Bradley)
- Siemens
- PLC networks implementation/troubleshooting
- Ethernet/IP
- Profibus
- Electrical panel design/documentation
- Control Systems Desings/troubleshooting
- OEM Automation Systems integration
- VFD programming/troubleshooting
- Basic CAD Schematics, Panel Design
Preferred Skills
- Troubleshooting skills utilizing a multi-meter, oscilloscope, etc.
- Microsoft Office
- Project management
