**Schedule:**Night shift and some weekends coverage

Pay: $35+ per hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate Drylock Core Values: Safety, Respect, Ownership
  • Follows all safety regulations.
  • Follows all quality standards and good manufacturing standards.
  • Perform Toolbox Audits at beginning and end of shift
  • Review and use Microsoft Office tools for any communications or assignments.
  • Applying technical standards and procedures to carry out tasks
  • Ensuring all techniques, procedures, and designs meet appropriate compliance standards.
  • Troubleshoot and solve any electrical system errors.
  • Performing PMs
  • Estimate the time and materials needed to complete projects
  • Perform project work.
  • Maintain records and documentation relating to the ongoing completion of projects
  • Perform electrician tasks as needed
  • Installing and calibrating technologies and equipment and training peers on operation and safety instructions
  • Maintaining equipment regularly by adjusting system components and testing functionalities.
  • Inspecting and troubleshooting equipment for issues and repairing or replacing defective parts as needed.
  • Using scientific and analytic computer software to diagnose faults in machines or applications.
  • Researching new industry instrumentation and studying details and instructions to install and use it properly.
  • Collaborate with process technicians and other plant professionals to install and test equipment.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors or Associates degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, industrial technology, or similar related field is strongly preferred
  • Previous experience in manufacturing preferred

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively in a manufacturing setting.

  • Must be able to read and interpret work documents.

  • Must have the ability to work in a team environment.

  • Must have the ability to perform advanced math.

  • Must have the ability to adapt to frequent changes.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical and automated equipment.

  • Ability to work multiple shift schedules, nights, and weekends

  • Good record keeping

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Complete understanding of electrical wiring, control systems using 24VDC and 120VAC and components (breakers, fuses, contactors, relays, timers)

  • Fluent in ladder logic for Programming Allen Bradleys (Siemens, Mitsubishi, and Keyence also helpful)

  • Full understanding of HMI setup and configuring

  • Can setup and replace electronic drives (Kinetix, Powerflex, etc.)

  • Can setup and replace soft starters, IO modules, control boards, etc

  • In depth knowledge of electronic chips, capacitors, resistors and transistors

  • Strong knowledge of electronic circuit design and development.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical installation safety.

  • Experience working with site inspections.

  • Ability to understand PLCs and controls is required.

  • Be able to read blueprints and schematics.

  • Be able to use electrical instruments such as: multimeter, megger, etc.

  • Must be able to work with minimum supervision.

  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Office products.

Personal Protective Equipment Requirements:

  • Hearing protection must be worn at all times.
  • Cut resistant gloves when using cutting tools.
  • Steel toe boots/shoes at all times.
  • Eye protection must be worn when working with compressed air.

Work Environment:

  • Work is performed primarily in an industrial environment.

Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
