About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and facilities. Your primary goal is to minimize downtime and maximize productivity through proactive maintenance and expert troubleshooting. You will work closely with our production team to keep equipment running at peak performance while maintaining a safe, clean work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine maintenance (cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting) and troubleshoot malfunctions across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Preventative Care: Execute preventative maintenance schedules to identify and resolve potential issues before they cause production delays.
Technical Support: Read and interpret technical manuals and schematics to perform precise repairs and equipment upgrades.
Safety & Organization: Maintain a safe and clean work environment by strictly following all safety procedures and regulations.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance.
Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Skills
Associate degree in industrial maintenance or a related field.
Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting.
Proficiency in welding and fabrication.
Experience with pneumatic systems.
Background in a manufacturing environment.
